Henry Widdas

Henry Widdas is the chairman of the North West Lancashire Branch of the National Union of Journalists. He has worked in the newspaper industry for two decades and his roles have included crime reporter and, more recently, sub-editor. He helped set up Holding The Line: Journalists Against Censorship in 2021 out of frustration at Big Tech censorship and he uses his position within the National Union of Journalists to encourage best practice in the industry.
