Hugh McCarthy

Hugh McCarthy recently retired as a head teacher after 23 years' service in that role. He also lectured in a postgraduate leadership course at the University of Ulster. Hugh has served as a director on two of N. Ireland’s major education councils, most recently as a ministerial appointment on N. Ireland’s Curriculum and Examination Council (CCEA). He is a member of PanData and Collateral Global. He has almost 50 years' experience in education.

Hugh holds a Master's degree with Distinction in Education Financial Management, an Honours degree in Chemistry and a BA in Public Administration.
